FAQ

Do I need a Mac? No. KeyMob runs on Windows and macOS. That is most of the point: Instruments, the device Console and Xcode are macOS-only.

Do I need Xcode? No, and no project either. KeyMob reads the device, not your build directory.

Does the phone need to be jailbroken? No. Stock iOS or iPadOS 12 or later, unlocked, trusted over USB.

Do I have to install anything on the phone? No companion app, no profile, no agent. Everything is read from your computer over the connection.

Do I have to change my app? No SDK, no library, no rebuild. KeyMob measures the binary that is already installed — which is the point, because a debug build with a profiler attached is not what your users run.

Which iOS versions? 12 and later.

Which desktop platforms? Windows 10+ and macOS 10.15+.

Which apps can I inspect? Performance counters and logs cover apps running on the device. File access and data decryption cover application containers the device exposes to a trusted computer. KeyMob does not defeat platform protections to reach further.

Does it work with Flutter, React Native or Unity? Yes. The counters come from the operating system rather than your framework, so Objective-C, Swift, Flutter, React Native, hybrid H5, cocos2d and Unity apps all measure the same way.

Can it monitor mini-programs? Yes. Scope the counters to the mini-program’s own process rather than to the host app.

Can it capture network traffic? Two different things share the word. The performance module reports network volume — bytes in and out, not request contents. Network work at the request level belongs to KeyMob’s separate packet-capture module. For deep HTTPS work specifically — decryption and certificate-pinning bypass — SniffMaster is the dedicated tool.

Can it debug a web page inside a WebView? No. See WebDebugX.

Android? No. KeyMob drives Apple’s own device services.

Do I need the cable the whole time? To pair, yes. After that you can switch to Wi-Fi. Stay on the cable for frame-rate work — network jitter is indistinguishable from device jitter.

Several devices at once? Yes, each with its own session.

The device is plugged in but does not appear. See Device not found. On Windows it is almost always the missing Apple device driver.

Is it free? There is a permanent free tier that needs no account: device information, performance overview, live logs, file management, app management, configuration profiles and backups. Performance charts, performance history and the data-analysis module are paid.

Is there a trial? Performance charts can be tried for 1 minute on every launch, no purchase needed. For the complete product, the 7-day VIP Trial is the low-cost way to start.

How do I get an activation code? Buy one on the pricing page and the code appears after payment. If the return fails, recover it on the recovery page with your order number or purchase email.

Can I use it on more than one computer? The code itself is the licence — it binds to no account and locks to no single machine, so your desktop and your laptop can share one. It is for one person: the licence service weighs device count, concurrent use, IP and location to spot sharing and leaks.

Do multiple codes stack? No. One code is one licence: entering a new code replaces the current one, and the remaining time does not carry over. Activate a new code after the current one expires.

When does validity start? On the day of payment, not on the day you first use the code — so redeem it promptly. Unredeemed codes are refundable; redeemed ones are not.

Does what I read leave my machine? No. The session runs between your computer and the device on the cable; logs, files, captures and backups are handled locally. Checking licence status talks to the licence service, and that exchange does not include device contents. See the privacy policy.

Can I use it on someone else’s phone? Only with their authorization. The user agreement is explicit, and app containers and backups contain a person’s whole life. Take the narrowest thing that answers the question and delete it afterwards.
